Two Sicklerville juveniles have been charged in a Winslow Township shooting last month, according to Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.

Winslow police responded at about 10 p.m. on June 17 to the report of a possible shooting in the Locust Court neigborhood. Upon arrival, they located a 19-year-old male gunshot victim inside a car that had crashed into an unoccupied vehicle parked at that location. He was transported to Cooper University Hospital in critical but stable condition.

Two boys, one 15 and the other 16, were charged with first-degree attempted murder in the shooting, conspiracy to commit a robbery and tampering with evidence, among other charges. Detectives discovered that the juveniles also robbed the victim of a watch and several other items.

They were both arrested earlier this month after being apprehended by a U.S. Marshals task force.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Det. Eric Ruiz of the prosecutor’s office at (856) 225-8686 or Winslow Det. Bryan Cohen at (609) 567-0700, ext. 1227. Anonymous information may also be sent to CAMDEN.TIPS.
