Two students from Moorestown High represented their school at the Future Business Leaders of America State Leadership Conference in Atlantic City earlier this year.

The school delegation had a strong showing, with two juniors – Yash Bhavsar and Dominic Kokkat – placing in the top 10 statewide in the computer problem-solving category. Kokkat earned an impressive second-place finish in New Jersey, a ranking that qualifies him to compete at the National Leadership Conference this summer in San Antonio, Texas.

The students’ success is largely credited to the dedication of teacher and Future Business Leaders of America advisor Mike Lundy, who ensured the team was prepared to compete at the highest level. Beyond the testing, the students took advantage of conference workshops and networking opportunities, insights on which they plan to bring back to Moorestown to mentor peers and prepare for next year’s competitions.
