Peanut butter to diapers at township food drive

Evesham Township, its Human Rights Council and township police are hosting a community food drive through New Year’s Eve.

The drive includes donations of essential food, toiletries and infant items to support residents in need during the holiday season and beyond. Donations can be dropped off at the municipal complex, 984 Tuckerton Road.

Requested food items are bottled water, hot and cold cereal, mac and cheese, Pop Tarts, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, canned soup and vegetables, granola and cereal bars, cookies and chips, crackers, canned cranberry sauce, cans of tuna fish and meats, canned fruit, rice (white or brown), boxed stuffing and non-perishable pudding cups.

Toiletries needed are lotion, soap, deodorant, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, toothbrushes and toothpaste, razors, feminine products, paper goods, tissues and paper. Infant items requested are formula, diapers and baby food.
