The following is a letter from Police Director Patrick Reilly to the Moorestown community:

As you are aware, the new school year has begun. With that said, children are more prevalent by walking and biking to our schools. Buses have returned to our roadways. I ask for your patience and vigilance when traversing the town. Make sure you add time to your commute with the increased traffic.

Please be super cautious when driving and adhere to our speed limits and signage. Our officers are focused on township traffic safety and enforcing violations.

Parents who allow their children to park off campus at the various high-school neighborhoods with parking restrictions will be ticketed. Our goal is to make this a safe school year for our children, which requires your help. Thank you.

Patrick J. Reilly, Jr.

Police Director
