April 18 – Senior Luncheon – 10:30 a.m. – Winslow Township Municipal Building

April 21 – Free Gas and Electric Assistance Program – 2 p.m. – Winslow Township Municipal Building. Documents needed are proof of current income (one-month pay stubs), photo ID (proof of age/residency), Social Security cards for all household members on the application, recent lease/rental receipt, property tax or mortgage statement, recent utility bills for electric and gas, life insurance policies, investment portfolios and retirement. At the South County Branch Library

April 15 – Book Tasting Club – 6:30 p.m.

“Sample” 10 books of all genres at our book tasting and you may find your next favorite author or series.  Participants will have four minutes to read from each book (you can choose to read from the beginning, middle, or end!)  and record their initial impressions. Brief discussion will follow. Book Tasting is held on the third Wednesday of every month. Please feel free to bring a snack with you.

April 15 – South County Ukulele Circle – 7 p.m.

The Ukulele Circle returns to South County every first and third Wednesday of the month. Join Mr. Roy Cox and other ukulele enthusiasts for an hour of playing and learning new songs together. All Skill levels are welcome. There will be a few ukuleles available for new players to use.

April 18 – Ukuleleville 3 11 a.m.

Join the South County Ukulele Circle for a day of fun! View a large display of ukuleles and watch a video on the history of the ukulele. Enjoy an open mic, performance by the Ukulele Circle, and sing-along. There will also be cake! Bring your own ukulele(s) and enjoy socializing with the local ukulele community.
