Unofficial: Medford Township election results

Voters in Medford Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected members for Township Council, school board of education and Lenape Regional High School Board of Education.

The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website, all of which are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.

Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.

Medford Township Council

Three Democrats and three Republicans vied for three, three-year term seats on Medford Township Council in the Nov. 4 election.

Republican candidates Thomas Juliano, Michelle Voorhees and Angela Zografos faced Democratic candidates Raymond Coxe, Jatinder Singh and Katherine Santamore. All six candidates are seeking their first terms.

As of Nov. 5, the Republican candidates lead with the most votes. Michelle Voorhees has received 6,024 votes, followed by Thomas Juliano with 5,934 votes, and Zografos with 5,870 votes.

Santamore has received 5,810 votes, Coxe has received 5,740 votes and Singh has received 5,697 votes.

There are 23 write-in votes.

Medford Township Board of Education

Six candidates vied for three seats on the Medford school board in the Nov. 4 election.

Lauren Caffery, Michael Etter and Kristin Sinclair were seeking reelection, while Bruno Berenato, Brett Beyer and Theodore Hilke were seeking their first terms.

As of Nov. 5, incumbent candidates are leading the votes. Caffery has received 5,704 votes, followed by Sinclair with 5,260 votes, and Etter with 4,908 votes.

Berenato has received 4,156 votes, Beyer has received 3,620 votes and Hilke has received 2,594 votes.

There are 161 write-in votes.

Lenape Regional High School Board of Education

Two candidates vied for one seat to represent Medford Township on the 11-member Lenape Regional High School Board of Education.

Currently there are two members representing the township. Incumbent Jennifer Levas faced Amanda Fitchett for the three-year term seat.

As of Nov. 5, Fitchett leads with 6,321 votes and Levas has received 3,253 votes.

There are 64 write-in votes.
