Among the grant recipients is Mill Race Village Arts and Preservation Inc., to support its annual Mount Holly Fire and Ice Festival.

The Burlington County Commissioners have approved more than $125,000 in local arts grant awards to 20 organizations that are planning arts programs and initiatives for 2026.

Grant recipients were chosen based on recommendations from an independent peer review panel. Funds will support activities and programs that include general operations, advertising, special exhibits, classes and performances. Two first-time recipients are St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mount Holly and the Burlington County 4-H Leadership Council.

The grant program was created more than four decades ago and relies on aid the county receives from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. For a list of the grant recipients, visit www.co.burlington.nj.us.

The county is also supporting the arts with a lineup of activities that includes its summer concerts series, the Arts After Dark Festival, Autumn Lands, May Faire and winter fest celebrations.

There will be a special celebration on June 14 in Mount Holly to mark America’s 250th anniversary. Listings of all county events and activities can be found in the online seasonal program guide at https://www.co.burlington.nj.us/235/Parks.
