Bertagnolli is board certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians and a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. He earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2013.

Prior to joining Samaritan, Bertagnolli’s distinguished career included extensive experience in family medicine and hospice care, in addition to teaching and mentoring medical students at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
