The following members of Deptford High School’s Future Business Leaders of America chapter achieved a notable rank in the organization’s Southern regional competitive events this month:

  • Reed Collum: Introduction to Business Concepts, second place
  • Brielle Rumaker: Introduction to Business Communication, third place
  • Jared Fanz: Cybersecurity, third place
  • Allison Bulger: Introduction to Business Communication, fourth place
  • Mason Henry: Securities and Investments, fourth place
  • Aryan Padia: Insurance and Risk Management, sixth place
  • Logan Reimel: Insurance and Risk Management, eighth place
  • Colana Tymes: Business Law, eighth place

The virtual competition takes place among various schools in South Jersey in areas that include accounting, personal finance, business law, organizational leadership, cybersecurity and advertising. Future Business Leaders of America competitions recognize and reward excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas and help prepare students for business careers by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment.
