During the month of February, Vineland Public Library, 1058 E. Landis Avenue, is featuring an exhibit titled Anything Goes by the Society of New Jersey Artists in the Doris Tripp Room. The exhibit includes original paintings in watercolor, acrylic, pastel, oil, paper collage, and mixed media.

The Society of New Jersey Artists was founded on May 8, 1948, by a group of artists who met in an old stone schoolhouse in Greenwich, NJ. They continue to meet today with artists living primarily in the southern New Jersey area.

Currently, SNJA has 80 members and is growing all the time. Its artist members work in all mediums and at all levels of expertise. They exhibit in galleries throughout the southern NJ area. SNJA support each member by encouraging their contributions of time and talent to their art and to the group, to help each other grow as artists.

SNJA usually exhibits at four shows per year, and occasionally promotes workshops. It encourages new members to join, and welcomes volunteer help to remain a strong, vibrant group of artists.
