The General Election is on Tuesday, November 3. Voters will cast ballots to elect members of the New Jersey General Assembly, the House of Representatives, Camden County Commissioners, two Voorhees Township Committee Members, as well as local and regional school board members.
Voters in New Jersey have three options for voting: they can cast ballots in person at the polls on Election Day, vote by Mail (VBM) or take advantage of the early voting program.
Applications for the Vote by Mail Program can be obtained by visiting the Voorhees Township Clerk’s office, the County Store at the Camden County Elections and Archive Center in Blackwood or online at camdencounty.com/vbm. Applications for Vote by Mail ballots for the General Election must be received by the Camden County Clerk no later than October 27. The Board of Elections must receive completed ballots before the close of the polls on Election Day or must have a postmark no later than November 9. Completed ballots for Voorhees residents can also be dropped off at the ballot drop box located outside of the front entrance to Town Hall.
The Early Voting Period is from October 24 to November 1. Voters can visit any of seven locations throughout Camden County during the early voting period and cast their ballot on a voting machine.

Any voter who is not listed on the voting rolls or is denied the right to vote, and who believes he or she is properly registered, can vote by way of a provisional ballot, which will be reviewed by the Board of Elections to determine voter eligibility.

Voorhees Township is hosting a free shredding event on Saturday, October 3, from 9 a.m. to noon at 6003 Voorhees Town Center (the old Macy’s parking lot off Somerdale Road, across from Osage School). This is for Voorhees residents only, no businesses.
The competition is underway! Voorhees Got Talent 2026 continues with the semi-finals on October 10 at 4 p.m. at Lions Lake Community Center. Contestants will compete for $1,000, $500 and $250 cash prizes. The finals will be held on November 14 at 4 p.m., and the top 5 finalists are invited to perform at the Voorhees Tree Lighting on December 4. Come out and support our talented local performers!
Save the date for the Harvest Festival and Fire Prevention Day on Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Voorhees Town Center. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day celebrating the season while learning important fire safety tips. Additional event details will be announced soon.
