The Countryside Garden Club, pictured above, will be participating as well. This year the club will have flats of annuals for sale and will be doing the children’s outreach program, where kids of all ages can create their own floral arrangements, in beautiful vases that were hand-painted by members of the club.

CU Maurice River (CUMR) is another participant. CU naturalists will be leading a walk along the WheatonArts Nature Trail that CU Maurice River installed. The walk will begin at the CUMR table at 10:30 a.m.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Daniel Herrera will discuss “Cats, Conservation, and Common Ground” about the need for responsible management of feral, stray, and outdoor cats. Talk is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the WheatonArts Event Center.
