
Voters in Gloucester Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected candidates for mayor, township council, and school board.
The Camden County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website that are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.
Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.
Gloucester Township Mayor
Democrat incumbent David R. Mayor face challenger Independent challenger Keith Gibbons for mayor.
As of Nov. 5, Mayor leads with 14,434 votes and Gibbons has received 9,147 votes.
There are 72 write-in totals.
Gloucester Township Council (Vote for 3)
Six candidates vied for three open seats for Gloucester Township Council including incumbent Democrats Carolyn D. Grace, Ciri Castro, Jr. and Helen Albright Troxell.
As of Nov. 5, the three incumbents lead with the most votes. Grace has received 14,432 votes, followed by Troxell with 14,159 votes and Castro with 14,102 votes.
Independent candidate Jennifer O’Donnell has received 8,273 votes, Independent Candidate Rehrig has received 7,973 votes and Torres, also in independent, has received 7,969 votes.
Black Horse Pike Regional Board of Education – Gloucester Township
Incumbent Robert DiMaulo ran uncontested for the open seat to represent Gloucester Township. As of Nov. 5, he has received 17,079 votes.
There are 414 write-in votes.
Gloucester Township Board of Education (Vote for 3)
Nine candidates vied for three open seats including incumbent Nancy Fritz.
As of Nov. 5, Karen M. Maschke leads with 9,324 votes, followed by candidate Joseph M. Tursi, Jr. with 9,126 votes and Charles “Chip” Pildis has received 8,968 votes.
James Coyle has received 5,102 votes, Fritz has received 4,858 votes, Daejah Purnell has received 4,670 votes, Brianne Connelly has receved 4,650 votes, Shawn Singh has received 4,470 votes and Brittany Bergeron has received 3,496 votes.
There are 381 write-in votes.
