Volunteers sought for park project

State Sen. Troy Singleton and the Moorestown Rotary lunch club have partnered for a park beautification project.

Part of the monthly Serve with Sen. Singleton, the project will be held on Saturday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Frank Fullerton Memorial Park on the corner of Zelley Avenue and Linden Street. The senator and a group of volunteers will perform a variety of tasks, such as planting or clean-up. Interested volunteers can sign up at troysingleton.com/fullerton2025.

Each month, Singleton crowd sources a team of volunteers to help with a particular community service project. The May 10 event will be his 73rd in the Serve with Sen. Singleton initiative since he became a state senator in 2018.

Previous volunteer efforts have also included animal welfare projects, clothing and supply drives, painting projects, gleaning efforts and community event set-up and staffing. To date, more than 2,900 hours have been donated by volunteers.
