*Burlington County Sheriff’s Office is holding a holiday toy drive of new unwrapped toys to be distributed to Burlington County children in need this holiday season. For more information visit Sheriff James H. Kostoplis Community Outreach Unit at (609) 265-3788.

*Burlington County Resource Recovery Complex, 22000 Burlington Columbus Road, Florence, is accepting non-working strands of Christmas tree and outdoor holiday lights for recycling. Drop off non-working lights in clear bags or cardboard boxes Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Visitor Center is open every first and third Sunday between 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., 210 Medford-Mt. Holly Road, Medford. Mindfulness sessions are held every month on the third Sunday at 1 p.m.

Blood Drives

The American Red Cross urges donors to keep the blood supply top of mind and help save lives by making an appointment to give blood or platelets – especially those with types O and B negative. To encourage donations during this critical period, all who come to donate through Friday, Jan. 2nd will receive their choice of a festive pair of fuzzy socks or a winter hat as a thank you for helping patients in need. Pinelands Garden Club

The Pinelands Garden Club meets at the United Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road, Medford at 9:30 a.m. once a month.

Balance Point Total Wellness to host a free Wellness Expo including a DJ, Chinese auction, live demonstrations and expert tips. Shawnee High School Musical Theater Program

The Shawnee High School Musical Theater Program will present their 2026 spring production, “Newsies the Musical.”

Medford Township is offering businesses and residents an opportunity to sponsor new banners for Main Street. This project originated with the Woman’s Club of Medford in 2015. Now, after eight years of proudly being displayed, it’s time to replace them. Each banner will include the name of the sponsor and will be attached to the light poles along Main Street.
