Toddler Time: For babies and toddler. 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for stories, movement, and activities designed for toddlers on-the-go. This program focuses on building early literacy skills through naming colors, counting, letter recognition, and more in a fun, interactive environment. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Toddler Time is also a place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
Preschool Storytime: For ages 3 to 5 years. 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library for fun stories, activities, and a craft! We focus on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. Preschool Storytime is also a great place to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Township offices and the library will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28 in observance of Thanksgiving.
Saturday, Nov. 29
Stay & Play: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to drop in for a special play time for children and their caregivers to socialize and explore. Participants may enjoy books, sensory toys, basketball, scavenger hunts, Duplos, crafts and more. This event will end with a clean-up time and bubbles.
Monday, Dec. 1
Yoga for Little Ones: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for a children’s yoga class, where little ones will get to practice child-friendly poses, breathing techniques, and relaxation exercises, and enjoy some fun games and stories.
Tuesday, Dec. 2
Start with Art: For ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Toddlers are invited to join the library staff for a variety of art stations to get creative. This month’s theme is about winter holidays around the world. Be sure to dress for a mess. Registration is required at www.bclsnj.bibliocommons.com.
Drop-in Tech Help: For adults. 2 to 4 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This program is for residents who may have questions about navigating their email, setting up a new device or using library resources like Libby and Udemy. This event is available on a drop-in basis. Interested residents may stop by whenever is most convenient for them, and the library staff will provide assistance for any technology needs.
The Art of Chinese Knotting:Â For ages 6 to 12 years. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Young residents are invited to learn about the traditional art of Chinese knotting and create their own piece under the guidance of an experienced artist. Residents may sign up with friends or meet new ones and see what unique works of art each other makes using this ancient technique. This month the class will be making a candy cane project.
