Wednesday, Jan. 8

Gentle Chair Yoga: senior citizens and adults. 2 to 3 p.m. at the Evesham Library. This is a gentle chair yoga class led by a certified yoga instructor. Chair yoga is a way to move the body and increase flexibility while using a chair for support. This class is ideal for those who are very stiff, have limited mobility or have minor injuries. Participants should wear comfortable clothing. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Thursday, Jan. 9

Around the World Storytime: Ages 3 to 6 years. 10 too 10:30 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Join the library staff for fun, stories, and activities. This class focuses on building early literacy skills such as recognition of the alphabet and written language, as well as oral language skills through rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in the fun. “Around the World Story Time” will focus on a different country each month. This month the class is “visiting” South Korea. Friday, Jan. 10

Zendoodle Time: Ages 8 to 12 years. 4 to 4:40 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Art is a healthy way to relax and refocus. Using the Zentangle doodling method, kids can both relax and create a stunning piece of art with little stress. Participants may bring music to listen to. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Monday, Jan. 13

Small Wonders Yoga: Ages 3 to 5 years. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. This yoga class is designed for preschool aged children. It will incorporate child-friendly yoga poses with stories and books, music, breathing exercises, and games. Children are encouraged to try the poses on their own, building self-confidence and body awareness. Classes are active and fun for all. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.

Stories & STEM: Ages 5 to 8 years. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Participants in this class will listen to a book and then try a STEM challenge designed after the story. This month’s challenge is based off the book “Terrific” by John Agee. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
