Missing juvenile found

Mantua police have located a missing juvenile who disappeared in the early-morning hours of April 13.

Xin Yi Yang had last been seen in the area of Barry Drive at approximately 4:45 p.m., according to police. She was found after a search that lasted seven hours.

The department credited the township community – specifically the school district – for helping in the search and recovery, including Superintendent Christine Trampe and J. Mason Tomlin School’s Laurie Heckert and Principal Christine Connelly, who fielded phone calls in the case.
