Eric Charles Brett Sr.

Eric Charles Brett Sr., 37, of Edgefield, SC, formerly of Gloucester City, passed away suddenly on May 7, 2021.

He was born on May 18, 1984, and lived on the 400 block of Market Street and the 800 block of Mercer Street in Gloucester City before moving to South Carolina.

Eric was a good friend and devoted father, and was a hard worker for UPS for 11 years.

He is survived by his five children: Kadance, 16; Hayden, 13; Jason, 11; Eric Jr., 6; and Annabelle, 4, all of Georgetown, SC.

He is also survived by his mother, Marion Gaffney, stepfather Norman Brett, and his brothers Robert Hammel, David Bennett, Ervin Brett and Andrew Brett.

Eric was predeceased by his father Robert Hammel, and favorite aunts Sharlene Bennett and Ruth Hammel, and his grandparents, Herbert Bennett and Doris Bennett.

There will be no services Eric, and he had already planned cremation.
