Moorestown: Election results for board of ed

Voters in Moorestown Township went to the polls on Nov. 5 and elected members of the board of education.

The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website, all of which are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.

Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.

There were five candidates running for three seats. Incumbents Jill Fallows Macaluso, Cheryl Makopoulos and Melissa Arcaro Burns face candidates Caitlin Berman and Ruchika Arora.

As of Nov. 6, Fallows Macaluso received 6,072 votes, Arcaro Burns received 5,568 votes, Arora received 5,046 votes, Makopoulos received 4,704 votes and Berman received 4,846 votes.

There are 283 personal-choice votes.
