Voters in Evesham Township went to the polls on Nov. 5 to elect three new members of the Evesham Township Council, as well as the Evesham Township School District’s Board of Education (BOE) members. There were three council seats available, one seat was for a two-year term while the other two were for full four-year terms. Only two candidates ran for three available seats on the school board.
The results of each race can be viewed on the Burlington County website. All of which are unofficial until officially verified by a vote-counting process expected to take more than a week.
All results so far are as of Nov. 5.
Democrats Joseph Fisicaro Jr. and Christian Smith currently lead with 13,378 and 12,909, respectively. Republicans Thomas DeMarsey and Robert DiEnna have 10,625 and 10,542 votes, respectively.
Democrat incumbent Dr. Krystal Hunter leads with 13,013 votes against Republican Keith Roman who has 10,719 votes.
For board of education, Kevin Peelman has received 17,367 votes, while incumbent Aneesh Kanthan has 15,460.
