The Delran Fire Department responded to an animal rescue around 8 p.m. on May 13 after Zoomie, a 2-year-old cat, became trapped in a storm drain. She was originally located two weeks ago by a neighborhood dog named Mozzie, who again alerted owners to her location. After about 40 minutes, firefighters were able to safely rescue Zoomie from the drain.
