As Halloween grows closer and autumn is in full swing, there is no better way to ring in the season than by checking out your local Harvest Festival.
On Sunday, October 18th, the Cherry Hill Harvest Festival was held at Croft Farms with a variety of vendors, activities, and live entertainment. At this year’s festival, there was truly something for the entire family to enjoy.

Peters School of Irish Dance performed at the Oct. 18 Harvest Festival
The main stage supplied attendees with a wide variety of performances throughout the entire day. Onlookers were able to enjoy the talents of Bowman Dance School, Peters School of Irish Dance, Kempo Karate, Artists in Motion Dance Studio, and School of Rock Cherry Hill. Not only was the main stage full of entertainment, but the outdoor dining area had their own performers as well.
Patrons were able to enjoy the singing of Aaron & John Music while either waiting in line for one of the many delicious food truck options, or while sitting and eating with friends and family.
A variety of food trucks were gathered to offer cuisine of all kinds. Of the attendees, customers could order from Al-Salam Grill, Dan’s Waffles, Jeremiah’s Food Truck, Just Fork It, Matty G Dogs, Red’s Rolling Restaurant and Mechanical Brewery.

An apple cider donut drink was one of the fall-themed food/beverage options available to guests at the event
Several dessert stands were set up as well, but one particular business had patrons lining up in droves for a taste of their apple cider donut drink or monster sized cotton candy.

Travis and Ashley of The Sweet Stop
Owned and operated by Travis and Ashley, The Sweet Stop is a local food stand that “specializes in all things sugar,” and was an absolute hit at the Cherry Hill Harvest Festival.
After getting something to eat, attendees could walk past the food court and over to the massive line-up of vendors. With over 100 artists in attendance– such as crocheters, woodworkers, and more– there was something for every member of your family to purchase.
Whereas the Harvest Festival was fun for all ages, children were certainly guaranteed to have a blast.

Children were able to participate in a bubble dance party at the Oct. 18 event
The kid’s corner held a bubble dance party that could be spotted from a mile away, as well as balloon animal making and face painting. Additionally, one free pumpkin was provided to each child to take home.

The Cherry Hill Fire Department hosted a “Touch-A-Truck” event at the Harvest Festival
A bit further down, kids could participate in a “Touch a Truck” event with the Cherry Hill Fire Department. Firefighters stood by their trucks for the entire afternoon, eagerly waiting for anyone curious to stop by to ask questions or explore their trucks.
The festival had hours of fun to offer, but nothing was more of a crowd pleaser than the free petting zoo and pony rides. Whereas smaller children excitedly waited for the opportunity to ride one of the many ponies available, guests of all ages were welcome to venture into the enclosure and pet sheep, goats, donkeys, rabbits, ducks, and more.
If you did not get the chance to attend this year’s Cherry Hill Harvest Festival, remember to be on the lookout for next year’s schedule!
