To help students prepare for the start of the school year, state Sen. Troy Singleton is again partnering with a local barber to provide free haircuts on Saturday, Aug. 30, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Singleton’s annual back-to-school haircuts are open to children 12 and under who are residents of his legislative district, which includes Burlington City, Cinnaminson, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, Palmyra, Riverside and Riverton. Children need to show a valid school ID.

The haircuts – which began in 2015 – will take place at Moguls Barbershop at 1821 Cinnaminson Ave.

“Having a fresh haircut is just as important as having new supplies on the first day of school,” Singleton said. “Looking good will give kids the confidence they need to start the school year successfully. I am thankful to my friends at Moguls Barbershop for their continued partnership and appreciate them sharing their talent with the community.”
