The Cherry Hill library will host an all-ages afternoon of art, gratitude and community service from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6.

Attendees will paint holiday greeting cards for local military service members deployed around the world during the holiday season. The cards are non-denominational, with messages such as “Happy Holidays and “Thank you for your service.”

Military spouse and artist Amy Bash will guide participants through the card writing and watercolor painting of them. Completed cards will be sent to deployed personnel with ties to South Jersey in time for the winter holidays and will be distributed to all branches of the military.
