At Bridgeton Public Library, 150 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton. 11a.m. Master multi-instrumentalist and music educator Mister Boom Boom, aka Frank Coates, from Philadelphia will hold a drum and percussion class for the whole family. His music education videos are shown in elementary schools around the area.
Mister Boom Boom has dedicated more than 20 years to music education and is a passionate advocate for children’s musical development. His YouTube channel, Mister Boom Boom’s Music Room, captivates over one million viewers monthly, introducing children to the world of music and percussion. When not leading local music classes, Mister Boom Boom performs engaging drum and storytelling shows at school assemblies and libraries nationwide. Bridgeton Public Library is thrilled to host Mister Boom Boom for an exciting workshop where children and their families learn West African hand drumming, tempo, rhythm, and group coordination before finishing with an exhilarating drum and dance circle.
