Tim was born in Philadelphia on June 4, 1948 to the late Jesus D. Salamatin Sr. and Geraldine Simmons Salamatin.

He proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and was a Purple Heart Medal recipient. Remaining funds will be donated to SpectraCare, an organization that provides transitional and permanent housing program for homeless or at-risk veterans and their families as well as helping plug gaps in veterans’ services and ensuring our nation’s veterans get the respect, care and services they have earned and deserve with dignity.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McCann-Healey Funeral Home, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City.
