Washington Township police officers who participated in the 2026 Police Unity Tour made it safely into Washington, D.C., on May 12 after completing the 300-mile journey from New Jersey over four days. The tour is both physically and mentally challenging, requiring tremendous dedication, perseverance and teamwork. The ride honors the memory of law-enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, and raises awareness and support for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
