Narcan distribution boxes are now located in the lobbies of the Monroe Township municipal building and the township police department.
“The Mayor’s Committee on Addiction Awareness, in partnership with Operation R.I.S.E. (Recovery Initiative Support and Engagement), remains committed to the health and wellness of our community by addressing substance use and overdose prevention,” the township noted on social media.
The box can be accessed for free; it’s also available 24/7.
“Everyone has the power to save a life,” the township posted. “Having Narcan on hand can make all the difference in an emergency,” the township said.
