STEAM for future engineers

Clearview Regional High School will host a free showcase of its STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) program on Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Among the topics will be Clearview’s robotics program, which won a state championship in March. The showcase will also include information about other programs, as well as hands-on activities for students who want to participate in STEAM-related classes and groups.

The event is open to Mantua and Mullica Hill residents. Activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; a robotics scrimmage will last from 1 to 3 p.m.; and Gear Up New Jersey awards will be handed out from 3 to 4 p.m.
