Each February, Gloucester Township Mayor and Council proudly celebrate Black History Month by recognizing outstanding African American members of our community. This month’s celebration is from 7-8 p.m. on Feb. 23, 1261 Chews Landing.

Jan. 28 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Winter Sowing at Camden County Office of Sustainability.

Jan. 28 – 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Filling Out Online Forms at Ferry Avenue Library Branch.

Jan. 29 – 6:30-7:30 p.m. – DisABILITIES Arts and Crafts at Camden County Environmental Center.

Feb. 1 – 3-5 p.m. – South Jersey Pops Orchestra at Scottish Rite Auditorium.

Feb. 7 – 10 a.m. to noon – Make and Take: Bulb Forcing at Camden County Office of Sustainability.

Feb. 10 – 6:30-8:30 p.m. – Merchantville Historical Society: An Evening with a former White House butler.

Blood Drive

The American Red Cross urges donors to make an appointment to give blood or platelets now to keep the blood supply into 2026. Types O, A negative and B negative blood donors are especially needed now.

The Red Cross is also teaming up with Pro Football Champion and blood donor Saquon Barkley to urge donors to make appointments now to help save lives this winter.

If you’re unable to give blood or platelets, consider making a financial donation to support the organization’s lifesaving mission at redcross.org.

Wednesday, Feb. 11

Winslow Township Board of Education meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the administration building.

Thursday, Feb. 19

Gloucester Township schools present second annual community resource fair from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Glenn Landing Gymnasium. The event is free and open to parents and guardians who will make connections with local providers, coaches, mentors and community staff. For more info, visit gloucestertownhipschools.org

Monday, Feb. 23
