Mahjong 1 p.m.

Sound Bath Healing 7 p.m. This event is open to individuals of all ages and backgrounds who are seeking relaxation, stress relief, spiritual growth and a deeper connection with themselves through the healing power of sound vibrations. An experienced sound healer will guide participants through a soothing sound bath using crystal singing bowls, gongs, Tibetan Bowls and other healing instruments to create a harmonious sonic environment. Bring a yoga mat or blanket and optionally, a pillow.

Baby and Me Meetup 10 a.m.

Inspiring Craft Day 11 a.m. For children ages 5-12. Teen volunteers will help children create crafts with breast cancer patients in mind. These crafts will be delivered to local cancer centers in goodie bags that will be made at this event.

Historical Reenactment: “The Life of a Private in the Civil War” 2 p.m. Reenactor and lecturer Garry Wetstein will discuss the life of a Civil War private in the Union Army. He’ll discuss the enlistment process, camp life and the experiences of battle. There will also be a variety of uniforms, source books and equipment.

Sunday, Feb. 8

Scavenger Hunt for Children 1 p.m.

Fossil Show and Tell 1:30 p.m. Local fossil enthusiast Jackson Swindells will show his collection of real fossils from prehistoric animals, including dinosaurs. He will provide information on the animals from whom the fossils originate as well as the history of each fossil, including where it was found, notable features, and more.

Complex PTSD Support Group & Book Club 3 p.m. The goal of this group is to provide encouragement, support and education in a safe environment for any adult who is struggling to overcome the effects of suffering from extended Complex-PTSD.

Art for the Seasons with Sky McClain: Painting Winter Snowdrops 1 p.m.

ESL (English as a Second Language) Conversation Group 5 p.m.

Monday Night Movie and Discussion: “Ace in the Hole (The Big Carnival)” 6:30 p.m.

Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group 7 p.m. The caregiver support group is for family and friends caring for a loved one with some type of dementia. The support group offers caregivers a place to share feelings and concerns, discuss challenges and learn about available resources.
