The Village Shoppes indoor marketplace is bringing a new holiday tradition to local families with a free Twinkle’s Holiday story time, an immersive Christmas adventure where children and their parents become part of the story.

Beginning at noon on Friday, Dec. 13, families will step into a transformed story time room filled with holiday décor, festive lighting, big-screen animation, magical sound effects and a senior elf guide who will lead them through the walk-through adventure along with Twinkle the Tiny Reindeer.

In the 30-minute interactive tale, each child becomes an official Sparkle Star Hero and their name and photo appear inside the story. The kids will use props and shout clues to help Twinkle solve puzzles and everyone “creates the magic” needed to light the Christmas tree

Parents participate as senior elves who assist and encourage their children and handle props. After the story, each child receives a magic password card that sends them on a mini-quest to visit participating Village Shoppes businesses for small gifts, treats and surprises.

Dates for the story times are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from Dec. 13 to Dec. 20; Tuesday Dec. 23; and Christmas Eve. Sessions are limited to five children from 4 to 8 years old. Parents must remain with their children.

Registration is required, with one form per child. Reserve a spot online at https://desktopfb.hflip.co/1d2f466554.html

Sessions are expected to fill quickly.
