Voters in Southamptom Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected members for Township Committee and school board of education.
The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website, all of which are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.
Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.
Southampton Township Committee
There were two, three-year seats open on the township committee. Republican incumbents Elizabeth Rossell and Arnold Harrison were running uncontested for the seats.
Rossell has received 3,274 votes and Harrison has received 3,235 votes. There are 90 write-in votes.
Southampton Township Board of Education
Six candidates vied for three, three-year term seats on the Southampton Township school board.
Incumbents Jeffrey Hicks – currently board president – and Sharon Roseboro were running for reelection. Christopher Donner, Gregory Sobocinksi, John Garza and Michael Dehoff are seeking a seat.
As of Nov. 5, Hicks leads with 2,274 votes followed by Roseboro with 2,242 votes and Donner with 2,194 votes.
Dehoff has received 1,911 votes, Garza has received 1,733 votes and Sobocinksi has received 1,728 votes.
There are 65 write-in votes.
