Unofficial: Tabernacle Township election results

Voters in Tabernacle Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected members for township committee, the board of education and the Lenape Regional High School District board.

The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results on its website that are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.

Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.

Tabernacle Township Committee

There were two, three-year seats open on the committee. Republican incumbent William Sprague and candidate Angelo Capoli were running uncontested.

Capoli has received 2,194 votes and Sprague has 2,131.

There are 703 write-in votes.

Tabernacle Township Board of Education

There are three, three-year seats open on the board. Incumbent Christina Wolfrom, Theodore Williams and Krystyn Wukitsch Foran were running uncontested.

Wolfrom received the most votes, with 2,320, followed by Foran with 2,193 and Williams with 2,161.

There are 136 write-in votes.

Also on the ballot was a two-year unexpired term and one-year unexpired term. There were no candidates who filed for the seats.

There were 154 write-in votes for the two-year unexpired term and 133 write-in votes for the one-year unexpired term.

Lenape Regional High School District Board of Education

There was one, three-year seat open on the board. Incumbent Robert H. Bende Jr. – the only person on the board representing Tabernacle – was running uncontested. Bende received 2,528 votes.

There are 46 write-in votes.
