Oct. 25 – Red Bank Battlefield Fall Walking Tours – Hessian Soldiers, Hidden Stories. Tours last one hour.

Oct. 28 – 56th annual Jonas Cattell 10-mile run at Red Bank Battlefield National Park and 6th annual Fort Mercer 5K Run. Race begins at Kings Court in Haddonfield and ends at Red Bank Battlefield National Park.

The South Jersey Museum of American History is located at 138 Andaloro Way. The museum’s permanent exhibits include artifacts from the Pre-Columbian through the Colonial Eras, American Farmstead, Antique hand tools and equipment, the Pine Barrens, Glass and a Fossil exhibit.

“Led by Love” Family Caregiver Support Group meetings are held monthly throughout the year from 9 a.m. to noon at 115 Budd Blvd., West Deptford. Next date is Nov. 19.

Serve-A-Tray program, which is for seniors 60 or older, is more than just a meal delivery – it’s about maintaining health, independence, and dignity for homebound seniors in the community. Participants receive a complete midday meal Monday through Friday, with frozen meals available for weekends. For more information call (856) 686-8325.

Gloucester County Senior Nutrition Sites offer well-balanced midday meals for residents 60 plus at Second Baptist Church, Paulsboro; First Baptist Church of Jericho, Deptford; Greenfields Volunteer Fire Company, Deptford; Pfeiffer Community, Williamstown; Glassboro Senior Center, Glassboro; and Mantua Township Community Center, Sewell. Blood Drives

The American Red Cross urges donors to keep the blood supply top of mind and help save lives by making an appointment to give blood or platelets – especially those with types O and B negative. Those who give through Nov. 16 will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice, plus be automatically entered for a chance to win one of three $5,000 gift cards.
