Deptford hosted the Heritage Over 55 BBQ for the neighborhood’s seniors on the evening of Aug. 7, drawing more than 100 people, according to the township. Volunteers and township employees served food to residents, who also got the chance to meet with one another, members of council, Police Chief Joseph Smith and members of the township fire department.
