This year’s Burlington County Senior Art Show features original designs from a record 64 artists, including 31 professionals and 33 nonprofessionals. All the participating artists are 60 years or older and residents of the county.

There’s still time to view some of the artwork created by Burlington County teens and seniors.

The Smithville Mansion Annex Art Gallery is hosting the county’s senior showcase and selections from its Teen Arts Festival through Saturday, Sept. 6.

More than 90 works of art in a variety of mediums are on display in the senior show, organized by the county parks system and its Department of Human Services Office on Aging. There are original designs from a record 64 artists – including 31 professionals and 33 non-professionals – who are 60 or older and county residents.

Their art includes acrylic, oil and watercolor paintings, mixed media, pastels, photography and crafts. All senior submissions were each judged, with first-place winners from each category. The work will be presented at the 2025 New Jersey Senior Art Show this fall in Mercer County.

The teen artists include 29 prize winners from this year’s festival in March. Each piece was selected by a panel made up of industry professionals such as artists, instructors and gallery curators. Several of the works were also judged as part of the statewide teen arts competition this summer.
