The Harrison Township Recreation Commission has announced registration for the fall program of Tumblin’ Tots, set to take place on Fridays in September, October, November and December at American Legion Post 452.

This program is designed to make fitness fun for children with exercise hidden within play-based activities to build motor skills, coordination and social skills. Activities include weekly greeting and stretch, cardio warmups with props and music, obstacle courses and games and parachute play.

“In a non-competitive setting, we encourage listening and cooperation, and it is our goal to see that each child experiences feelings of success during each class leading to improved self-esteem and confidence,” the commission noted of the program.

Dates are Sept. 5, 12, 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, Nov. 14, 21 and Dec. 5 and 12. Each session will be broken in two, one for kids 2 to 3-and-a-half years old from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. and the other for kids from 3-and-a-half to 5 from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.
