Palmyra-Riverton-Cinnaminson Juneteenth Celebration of Culture will be held from 4-8 p.m. at the Palmyra Community Center, 30 W. Broad St. There will be Black-owned vendors, food trucks, commemorative and artistic performances. Rain date is Friday, June 20.

The Borough of Palmyra will provide five days of free shelf-stable breakfast and lunch meals for kids – 18 and under – in the community every Friday through Aug. 15 at the community center., 30 W. Broad St. Meals are courtesy of the borough and The Food Bank of South Jersey. Bring reusable bags. Contact the community center for additional information at (856) 829-1144.

To celebrate his June birthday, State. Sen. Troy Singleton is collecting “Birthday Cake Kit” donations including boxed cake mix, frosting cans or mixes, birthday candles, party decorations, disposable cake tins and balloons. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the senator’s office located at 400 N Church Street, Suite 260, Moorestown. Items can be dropped off in the designated bin in the lobby. The drive will support Generation Family Success Center’s Birthday Program, which provides free birthday kits to families in need so every child can feel celebrated on their birthday.
Riverfront Seniors
Riverfront Seniors, formerly Palmyra Seniors, is a non-profit, non-partisan organization for persons 55 years or over who reside in Burlington County and surrounding areas. Members from area towns meet at the Palmyra Community Center each month September to June. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays. Doors open to the members at 9 a.m., the meeting starts at 10 a.m., and at 11 a.m., the program is presented. On first and third Fridays, members can enjoy Bingo, lunch and a movie at the community center. Anyone may attend one meeting free to meet everyone. Palmyra War Memorial Committee
The Palmyra War Memorial Committee meets four times a year and holds its annual Memorial Day observance. They also do cleanups at the memorial at least two times a year.

Seniors Lunch
The monthly seniors lunch event is held every third Tuesday at the Christ Episcopal Church Parish House, 4th and Howard St., Riverton. All are invited for the free lunch and can bring a friend. A chair lift is available. If you need a ride or know someone who does call SEN HAN Transportation at (877) 603-5111 to register. For more information visit christriverton.org. The lunch is free of charge, but donations are welcome.

Palmyra Police Youth Academy will be held from July 7-11 for students entering seventh and eighth grade for the 2025-26 school year. Applications can be picked up at the Palmyra Police Department and are due June 23. For questions contact (856) 829-0198.

To reserve your personalized brick paver please print and complete this FORM and return it to Palmyra Borough Hall, 20 W. Broad St., along with a check made payable to the Borough of Palmyra in the amount of $50 per each brick paver requested. Forms are also available at Borough Hall. Engravings will be ordered once payment is received. Proceeds benefit the Borough’s Recreation Trust Fund, which is used for projects and staffing for recreational activities.
