Two teen girls missing in Gloucester Township

Gloucester Township police are asking for the public’s help in locating two missing 14-year-old girls.

Jazmine Boston and Amiya Albert were both reported missing on March 7 and were last seen in the Blackwood section of the Township.

According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), New Jersey currently has 419 open missing persons cases, with 832 resolved. The state reports 452 open unidentified persons cases, with 163 resolved. The unclaimed persons category also reflects 184 open cases, where individuals have been located but remain without identified next of kin.

Boston is a black female who is just over 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds. She has brown eyes and short black hair and was last seen wearing all-black clothing. Boston is believed to be in Camden City, possibly in the area of Crestfair Drive, officials said.

Albert is also a Black female who is just over 5 feet tall and weighs about 155 pounds. She has brown eyes and long braided black hair and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black leggings and black sneakers, officials said. She is also believed to be in Camden City, possibly in the area of Sycamore Court.

Amiya Albert is just over 5 feet tall and weighs about 155 pounds.

Township police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Boston or Albert to call 911 or the police at (856) 228-4500. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the Anonymous Crime Tip Line at (856) 842-5560 or via the police website at https://gtpolice.com/tips.

South Jersey has seen a number of cases involving missing teens over the past few years, including in Camden County, where five cases were reported within a week in November. Township police have also seen an increase in the number of missing juvenile cases, particularly among teens from 13 to 17 years old.

Local authorities urge residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity or information related to missing persons. The community’s support can play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of young people in the area.
