Vineland Public Schools recently announced that, beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, all district students will have access to breakfast and lunch at no cost every school day.
This opportunity is available through the Community Eligibility Provision, which allows the district to provide nutritious meals to every student without requiring families to apply or meet individual income requirements. By removing financial and administrative barriers, the district said it can help ensure that all students have the nourishment they need to begin the day ready to learn.
Although families do not need to complete an application for students to receive free school meals, all families are encouraged to continue completing the annual meal application. This information is used to determine eligibility for summer EBT benefits, and a new application must be submitted each year for families to be considered.
