School board reorganizes

Board incumbents and newcomers take their oaths of office at a meeting on Jan. 7.

The Cinnaminson Township Board of Education reorganized with some new faces.

Incumbents Donna M. Iacone and Laura Fitzwater were joined by newcomers Jennifer Falconiero and Eileen Bleistine as they were sworn into their new terms at a board reorganization meeting on Jan. 7. Iacone, Fitzwater and Falconiero begin three-years terms and Bleistine begins an unexpired one-year term.

Fitzwater was elected at the meeting to remain board president and Ed Kenney was elected vice president.

Township announces Thanksgiving food drive

Cherry Hill Township is encouraging residents to give back this holiday season through its annual Thanksgiving food drive, with donations accepted now through Nov. 23. Community members can drop off food donations at several township locations, including the Cherry Hill Municipal Building, 820 Mercer St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Croft Farm, 100 Bortons Mill Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Cherry Hill Public Library, 1100 Kings Highway, will also accept donations Monday through Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Additional donation locations include the Cherry Hill Food Pantry, 910 Beechwood Ave., and Jewish Family and Children's Service of Southern New Jersey. Residents interested in donating at these locations should call ahead for drop-off availability. For more information, contact the Cherry Hill Food Pantry at (856) 910-9090 or Jewish Family and Children's Service at (856) 433-8225. Residents can find additional information and food pantry resources on the Cherry Hill Township website.
