Moorestown: Official election results

The Nov. 5 election results in Moorestown are now official. The final vote tallies released Nov. 21 through the Burlington County Clerk’s Office included early voting, mail-in ballots and Election Day votes.

There were seats open for the township committee and the board of education.

In the committee race, Democratic incumbents Sue Mammarella and Chris Keating and candidate James Barry received 6,501, 6,481 and 6,397 votes, respectively. Republican Nicole MacHenry got 5,453 votes, Sam Foster received 5,344 and Gary Morris 5,331. There were also 13 personal-choice votes.

Five candidates vied for three open seats on the board of ed.

Incumbents Jill Fallows Macaluso, Cheryl Makopoulos and Melissa Arcaro Burns received 6,295, 4,852 and 5,777 votes, respectively, while candidates Caitlin Berman and Ruchika Arora received 5,030 and 5,249 votes respectively. There were 226 personal-choice votes.
