Voters in Monroe Township went to the polls on Nov. 4 and elected members for school board of education.
The Gloucester County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website, all of which are unofficial until a vote-counting process that could take more than a week is complete.
Vote totals do not include late mail-in and provisional ballots; they are expected to be tallied at a later date.
Monroe Township Board of Education
There were a number of open seats on the Monroe Township Board of Education.
Incumbents Anthony Lanteigne, James Magee and Rosemarie Mohr were running or reelection for the three, three-year terms while Jeanine Wilson, Jayme Miller-Dobbins and Anthony Bundi were seeking their first terms.
As of Nov. 5, Wilson leads with 6,963 votes, followed by Miller-Dobbins with 6,465 votes and Mohr with 5,846 votes.
Close behind is Magee with 5,834 votes. Bundi has received 5,821 votes and Lanteigne has received 5,261 votes. There are 146 write-in votes.
Two candidates – incumbent Al Lewis and Mark Kozachyn – were running for the two-year unexpired seat.
As of Nov. 5, Kozachyn is leading with 6,330 votes and Lewis has received 5,580 votes.
Two more candidates – Vincent Brando and Marie Sheridan – are running for the one-year unexpired seat.
As of Nov. 5, Sheridan is leading with 6,944 votes and Brando has received 5,331 votes. There are 45 write-in votes.
