Bells Elementary School recently celebrated its students collectively reading for more than 60,000 minutes during Read-A-Thon.

Classrooms buzzed as students tracked their minutes, supported one another and took pride in contributing to a shared goal. To celebrate, they got to tape Principal Shaun Giberson to the wall. The event was sponsored by the school’s PTO.

“I could not be more proud of our students for their dedication and enthusiasm toward reading,” Giberson said. “This achievement shows what we can accomplish when we come together as a school community. I have to say, being taped to the wall was definitely worth it to celebrate their success”.
