The Voorhees Township Public Works Department works hard to keep our neighborhoods,
parks and roads clean and safe. The department’s mission is to provide and maintain quality
public services and sustainable infrastructure to meet the needs of our community.
Our residents cooperate by using the recycling guidelines provided by the department.

Last year, the Department of Public Works collected 14,265.34 tons of recycling materials
and 8,651.77 tons of solid waste (trash) from our residents. A total of 62.25% of all residential
waste collected was recycled. By removing 14,265.34 tons of recycled materials from solid-waste disposal, residents helped Voorhees save $1,326,676 in trash disposal costs.

Thank you to all residents for recycling!
