Voorhees Township has provided services to our residents through our public service event outreach
week in February and on individual service days throughout the year.

We offered a variety of important programs, including the annual rabies clinic, Real ID services from the
state Motor Vehicle Commission, vehicle inspections by the state’s Motor Vehicle Inspection Unit and tax
assistance for seniors from the state’s Division of Taxation.

We organized events that facilitated access to the Transportation Security Administration
(TSA), New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance and Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS),
along with shredding services to enhance identity safety.

These initiatives made services more accessible for our community’s convenience. Residents received
personal assistance through direct interactions with live representatives. Services provided included 437 NJMVC Real ID appointments; 144 NJMVC Vehicle Inspections; 62 NJ Division of Taxation Seniors filings;
and 137 TSA precheck applications, among others.

These efforts and others made important services readily available right in our town, leading to agencies requesting a return in 2026. Follow our social media to take advantage of these services next year.

The township will present the winter village and tree-lighting ceremony at Town Center on Friday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. For more information, visit voorheesnj.com and other township social media platforms.

The Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club’s 17th annual Community Service Awards will be held on Thursday, Jan. 22, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Lucien’s Distinguished Catering in Berlin. For sponsorship opportunities and more information on this signature event, visit the Rotary Club website, www.voorheesbreakfastrotary.org, or call Nick Colanzi at (856) 435-6200.
