Voorhees Township Public Service Outreach will take place from Feb. 24 to 28 at the Lions
Lake Complex.
The state’s Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC) will be on-site to assist with the upcoming law for REAL ID,
which will be necessary for domestic air travel. TSA PreCheck enrollment will be
available and the Division of Taxation Services will answer questions regarding the Senior
Freeze, ANCHOR, and Stay NJ programs.
Notary services will also be available, and the Voorhees police will conduct car seat safety checks (Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m, and Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.). An MVC mobile unit will provide services for REAL ID as well as driver’s licenses, non-driver identification cards, placards, license plates and examination
permits. Starting May 7, a REAL ID will be required by law for domestic air travel.

TSA pre-check enrollment:
IDEMIA will offer TSA PreCheck® enrollment, which allows low-risk travelers a smoother
experience at airport security checkpoints. The enrollment process takes approximately 10
minutes and includes providing proof of identity, proof of citizenship (or legal permanent
residency), fingerprints and a photo. The cost is $76.75 for an ID valid for five years. An appointment is

Division of Taxation Services:
Representatives will be available to answer questions and see if you are eligible regarding the
Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) program, which
offers property tax relief. Senior Freeze reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled persons
for property tax, and Stay NJ is a NEW tax credit program to help cut seniors’ tax bills. No

Notary:
Please bring a current photo ID that includes your signature, along with the
documents where all necessary fields are filled out, except for the signature. Additionally, make
sure to bring your witness, as we cannot provide witnesses or make copies. No appointment is
needed and the service is free. It will be provided on the Feb. 26 outeach day from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Township police:
The department is offering free car seat safety checks and installations. No appointment is necessary. Bring the car seat. This service will be provided on the Feb. 24 outreach day.

The Voorhees Township Police Department will begin its annual Citizens Police Academy
on Thursday, March 6. Participants will meet on most Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m., concluding with a graduation ceremony on April 10. The deadline for applications is
