As the holiday season approaches, Voorhees Township police will once again raise money to help the needy through the department’s holiday fund.

As in past years, the force is searching for families to help. Letters of request will be
accepted and local families will be chosen. Each year, our police staff receives
monetary donations from local businesses, organizations and residents. Once the families are
chosen, our women and men in blue collect wish lists, shop, wrap and deliver the gifts to the
families.

Letters recommending a family should be sent to Stephanie Fowler at sfowler@vtpd.com or
mailed to the address below. To allow adequate time for organizing and shopping, letters should be submitted by Nov. 21.

Send monetary donations to Fowler at 1180 White Horse Road, EIN# 81-1717907. Checks should be made payable to the Voorhees Police Holiday Fund. For more information, call the Police Records Bureau (856) 627-5858, ext. 3001. Thank you to our police department for spreading joy over the holiday season.

Voorhees presents our winter village and tree-lighting at the Town Center on Friday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. For more information, visit voorheesnj.com and other township social media.
